When a courageous young girl named Neera becomes separated from her family in the desert, she chances upon a wild colt.  Together, the two find friendship and trust and eventually their way back home, only to discover that Neera’s family is about to lose everything.  Now Neera must devise a daring plan to save her family by risking what she loves the most – the young black stallion.  An exciting adventure about friendship and loyalty, this film is based on the novel by Walter and Steven Farley.
